KarroFix (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website (karrofix.com), mobile applications, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Personal Information. Name, email address, phone number, password, and home or service address.
- Vehicle Information. Make, model, year, VIN, mileage, and photos you add to your garage.
- Location Data. Precise location when you request or accept a service. Live technician location is shared with the customer during an active job and stops on arrival or completion.
- Payment Information. Repair payments are processed by Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not store your full card number. Technician payout records include labor, diagnostic, parts reimbursement, and the platform commission deducted from labor, as described in the Terms of Service.
- Subscription Information. Plus, VIP, Solo Pro, and Business subscriptions billed by the Apple App Store, Google Play (RevenueCat), or Stripe on the website.
- Device Information. A device identifier used to recognize trusted phones and computers. Signing in on a new device may require a one-time email or SMS code.
- Messages and Reviews. Job messages and post-job ratings. This is user-generated content. Admins may review and delete reviews.
- Rewards. Referral codes and reward-point balances earned from referrals and completed jobs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve KarroFix on web and mobile
- Match customers with nearby technicians and Business shops
- Enable messaging, live tracking, inventory, and walk-in work orders
- Process repair payments, memberships, labor credits, reward points, technician payouts, and the platform commission on labor
- Confirm new devices and prevent unauthorized access
- Prevent fraud, moderate content, and comply with law
3. How We Share Your Information
- Technicians and shops. Limited information needed to complete the requested service.
- Payment processors. Stripe and Stripe Connect for repair payments and payouts. Stripe Identity verifies government IDs for new technician signups.
- Subscription billing. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Stripe for memberships and technician plans.
- Infrastructure. OnSpace Cloud (built on Supabase) hosts accounts, jobs, and chat.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Your Rights and Account Deletion
You may access, correct, or delete your data, and you may delete your account from Profile in the app or by emailing support@karrofix.com.
