Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

KarroFix is a technology platform that connects customers with independent mobile technicians and Business shops for vehicle repair and roadside assistance. Technicians and shops are independent contractors, not employees of KarroFix. The same login works on karrofix.com and in the apps.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
• The same email may enroll as both a customer and a technician.
• Signing in on a new computer or phone may require a one-time email or SMS code before that device is trusted.
• Customers, technicians, admins, and Super Admins sign in to the same account system on web and mobile.

3. Customer Memberships

A service fee applies to every completed job on all tiers. Current membership prices, booking fees, and labor credits are shown on karrofix.com and in the apps and may be updated by KarroFix.

• Free. Pay-per-job booking fee plus the service fee. One vehicle. Matching, chat, and invoices.
• Plus. Reduced booking fee, monthly labor credit, live tracking, up to two vehicles.
• VIP. No booking fee, larger monthly labor credit, unlimited garage, longer warranty, Business-tier techs.

4. Technician Plans

• KarroFix is free marketplace access. Solo Pro is a paid plan for one technician (Labor Guide, inventory, multi-store parts search). Business is a paid shop plan with team seats, time clocks, and walk-in work orders.
• Current Solo Pro and Business prices are shown on karrofix.com and in the apps.
• Marketplace and walk-in jobs include a platform commission on labor. Super Admins can change the rate in Rules.

5. Payments, Points, and Payouts

• Repair payments are processed by Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Customer memberships on iOS/Android are billed through the App Store or Google Play. Technician plans may also be billed through Stripe on the website.
• Technician Commission. KarroFix charges technicians a platform commission on labor and diagnostic only (default 12%, or the rate shown in Super Admin Rules and on the technician earnings screen). This commission on labor supports platform maintenance, verified lead generation, secure transaction processing and software infrastructure to help grow your shop’s business. It is shown on the technician invoice and earnings breakdown and is never applied to verified parts or parts sales tax. Verified parts plus tax are reimbursed 100% via Stripe Connect after the payout hold.
• Customers earn reward points for referrals (when the referred person completes a first job) and for their own completed paid jobs. Points convert to service credit as shown in Rewards and have no cash value otherwise.

6. Reviews

After a job, customers may rate technicians and technicians may rate customers. KarroFix admins and Super Admins may review and delete ratings that violate these Terms.
